Hi Nick, I am working on a web project for The Wild Center, helping people explore the natural world more deeply, and wondered if there might be a way we could get permission to use some of your images. Thanks for any consideration
Hi Howard. This was a pleasant surprise and is definitely something that I would consider doing for the Wild Center. As you no doubt learned from my blog/photo journal, I’m a devoted conservationist and environmental educator. Nearly all of my photography features “wild” subjects in the Central New York region, which seems appropriate for your project. As a follow-up, could you send me an email with more details regarding terms, conditions, acknowledgement, etc.? hunternb@morrisville.edu. Thanks! Nick
The owl resembles a miniature snowman. Great series of photos. Thanks for the great photos and happy new year.
When dealing with an erratic, uncommon visitor like the snowies, the first sighting of the season is a huge thrill, regardless of what you have on file. My first good shot in 2013 was Christmas eve; this year, New Year’s Eve. The timing adds to the magic! Thank you Alison. My best to you and yours.
When I first saw the photo of “little Snowy” I thought, “This little owl looks like a Shmoo, a character from Lit’l Abner. Oh, well~~the photos really make me smile.
Super pictures. Thanks. Good wishes back attcha. Jo
Thanks Jo!
