Friendly, cheery, perky, chatty, cute – there just aren’t enough adjectives to do justice to the uplifting presence of a social flock of chickadees, especially on a dreary, bitterly cold, winter day.

Nice Chickadees, I like how chickadees always try to land in your hand when they think you have food.
Wow! The photos are really good. And isn’t it fun just to say the word–“black-capped chickadee”.
These are one of my favorite winter birds, and you did an excellent job capturing the essence of this mighty mite!!
Love the snowy beak in the second shot, but they’re all wonderful.
