It’s early Spring and everything is alive and fresh in the morning sun. Let’s take a hike. The destination is a small, local park and the goals are bubbling brooks, tumbling waters, a small wildflower called Hepatica (that I often miss because it blooms so early)…. and anything else of interest!
Trail’s end. That’s all … for now!

I have not seen a Trillium for years. Thanks for photographing its beauty.
My pleasure Judith!
Only someone with a photographer’s eyes and an intimate knowledge of nature can capture its beauty like you have in these marvelous photos.
Thanks Hien. As I navigated into a ravine in search of undisturbed flowers and ultimately to get an intimate perspective of the falls, I questioned my sanity. But your nice comments validate the journey!
great shot of the white hepatica
Thanks. The group, environmental shot was a challenge. Lots of plants and flowers in bloom, but very few in a nice group with good light and an appealing background.
I found the group appealing and the shots point of view
Wow !!! the red Trillium is so beautiful.
Thanks. They’re just starting to bloom so I hope to capture a few more shots. The trilliums photograph well and are everyone’s favorite!
