    • Thanks Laura – I like your description. The scene was priceless. He was in a thicket when he saw movement – I had shifted my camera position ever so slightly. But, he didn’t have my scent and I was sitting low to the ground in tall weeds – not the profile of a human. He took a few steps toward me, then strutted left to right, all the while trying to figure me out. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a deer stretch its neck so far for a better look!!!

    • Thanks Gunta. I love the shot too…but would trade the farm to have the big guy from the previous post standing in that exact same spot and pose (the two bucks are frequenting the same habitat)!!!
